Is this enough?... Do we really care for them?... A question asked around the world due to changing political landscape. Chief of Defence Staff Sir Graham Eric Stirrup recently said, people lack respect for the Soldiers who give fight and give their life for the country. So lets take this time to remember what they did for us.
We are fortunate enough at least to a certain degree to express our selves... do what we like and argue over , silly little things like who is better than whom in mindless talent shows that claim to scoop out the X factor in people...
( I think the one that Sirasa... cost the country billions of Taxpayers money and we lost several jets)
Pray remember its them who made all that possible...
We salute you ...

Hehe .. while such ceremonies are important the truth on heroism I've come to realize is quite the contrary. Did you know that Turing did more to win WW2 than any Private to General who ever bore arms? But this takes us to realms that I'd rather not discuss publicly. Perhaps someday over some booze we might ..
This is possibly true... But I am not talking about who did more work. I am simply talking about the idea of people doing something like what these people did. I have never been in a battle field neither have you...I cant even imagine what goes through some ones head and what motivates some one to go on.. under immense pressure and most probably certainty that Mr grim reaper is waiting for you beyond the Horizon.. I dont know how I will react if I was ever put in such a place.. therefore I admire people who did ...
yes... When are we going to have our Pint of Guiness.. ?
hey do you know who provides electricity to these ltte controlled areas? what about fuel? who pays for hospital and school facilities? i'm not sure if the govt does, but there can't be any govt agencies there and ofcourse people from these areas don't pay taxes to govt.
